As “Customer Zero” for the Webex Teams and Microsoft Office 365 integration, Cisco IT is trying out different use cases to give customers the benefit of our real-world experience. We’re introducing the Webex Teams integration into Office 365 to Cisco employees in three phases. The Cisco Webex Teams and Office 365 integration is great for users that are happy to live in Webex Teams — but it doesn’t take into account users that prefer Microsoft Teams for collaboration.

The Cisco Webex Meetings integration makes it easy to add a link for your Webex meeting or Personal Room meeting to your message in your team channel in Microsoft Teams. With the Webex tab, you can schedule a Webex meeting and invite channel members so that it appears in their upcoming meetings lists and in their Microsoft Office 365 calendars.

Webex Teams Microsoft Teams
For users in your organization, you must register the file spark-windows-office-integration.dll using administrator privileges. You can run regsvr32.exe on the .dll file, or use another method.
The spark-windows-office-integration.dll file is part of the Webex installation and is stored in the dependencies subfolder of the folder where you have installed Webex. For more information, see Installation and Automatic Upgrade.

For users on a free account, they can integrate Cisco Webex status with Microsoft Outlook in the Webex app if they are administrators on their computers. Then, they need to restart the Webex app and Outlook.
