Microsoft 365 (M365) is a suite of online and desktop applications, which includes familiar apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. DoDEA will make Microsoft 365 services available in phases beginning with the Microsoft Teams desktop app, which will replace Skype for chat and meetings. Unlimited OneDrive storage for E3 or E5 subscriptions of five or more users. Microsoft will provide an initial 5 TB of OneDrive storage per user. Customers who want additional OneDrive storage can request it as needed by contacting Microsoft support. Subscriptions for fewer than five users receive 1 TB OneDrive storage per user. Today, we're announcing that Microsoft 365 apps and services will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) by this time next year.
Beginning November 30, 2020, the Microsoft Teams web app will no longer support IE 11.
Beginning August 17, 2021, the remaining Microsoft 365 apps and services will no longer support IE 11.
Note
Using Internet Explorer mode in the new Microsoft Edge will not extend IE 11 access to Microsoft 365 appsand services beyond the dates listed above.
Additionally, we will be ending support for the legacy version of the Microsoft Edge desktop app on March 9, 2021, in favor of thenew Microsoft Edge. This means that the legacy version of the desktop app will no longer receive security updates.

Microsoft will continue to support Internet Explorer 11. Internet Explorer is a component of the Windows operating system andfollows the Lifecycle Policy for the product on which it is installed.
